Worship Workshop
Date: Saturday, April 27, 2024
Time: 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm (Age 8 - 12)
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm (Age 13 - 99)

What is worship? What is worship dance? Am I capable? How do I use this in my own life? Improve your dancing and get comfortable in your own dance capabilities no matter what skill level you are! During this worship we will work through different styles of music and discuss how they influence our emotions and perspectives of God during worship. And of course, we will spend time just enjoying the presence of God together. We look forward to worshipping with you!

All ages, 8 and up are welcome! Join Hope Massey as she shares her experience and passion for Worship Dance and the Lord. Wear comfortable clothing that you can move freely in with socks. Ballet attire is welcome.

Hope Massey, Worship Workshop Instructor
Hi! I'm Hope Massey, born and raised in Canada. I grew up in a Christian family and was introduced to missions as a young child through family members. I have always loved dance. I started in tap at four years old, ballet at five, modern dance at age ten. I continued to dance until I graduated high school. I knew I wanted to take a year off before attending a university to grow deeper in myself and the Lord but I did not know how much it would change my life!

I joined the missions organization Youth With A Mission (YWAM) and that is where my adventure began. I spent three years with a performing arts team dancing and sharing the gospel. I traveled all over the world growing as an artist but more importantly as a Christian.
After that I joined a worship music program. I learned more about what worship meant which helped me develop my understanding of how dance is included in that. I am here to share that with you!

Through YWAM I also met my now husband and we have a two year old son. I am so thankful for how God has impacted my life and excited to share my passions with you!
